A Poem to Sit With

J. Janda

Just now I was collecting a couple of sticks,
to go in and prepare something for myself and my son;
when we have eaten it, we shall die" (First Reading)

Mother Teresa of Calcutta, 2

At the
hospital

of the
dying
she shows
that
although

they have
lived
as animals

they must
die
as angels

her
living
hope

to do
something
beautiful
for God
